Terms of use

By using babybub you agree to these terms. If you do not, do not use it. You need to be an adult to agree to them.

Use it for its purpose — following a pregnancy, preparing for a birth, and keeping records about your own baby. Do not attempt to break, misuse or interfere with the apps or this site, or use them for anything unlawful.

babybub is beta software. The iOS app is distributed through TestFlight and is not on the App Store. Features may change, break or be removed, and the app may contain errors — including in the content it shows you.

To the extent the law allows, babybub is provided “as is” and “as available”, with no warranty of any kind: no promise that it will be accurate, uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. Timers, predictions and summaries are calculated from what you entered and are estimates only.

Everything you enter belongs to you. It is stored on your own device — we never receive a copy of it, as described in the privacy policy.

That cuts both ways: because we hold nothing, we cannot restore anything. There is no backup, export or recovery. If you delete the app, lose the device or clear your browser storage, the records are gone permanently. Keep your own copy of anything you would be upset to lose.

The apps, the website, the written guidance and the illustrations are ours, and are licensed to you for personal use only. Do not copy, republish or redistribute the content.

Australian Consumer Law gives you guarantees that cannot be excluded, and nothing here tries to exclude, restrict or modify them. Where a guarantee applies and the law permits us to limit our liability, our liability is limited to re-supplying the app or paying the cost of doing so.

Otherwise, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for:

• Any decision made about your health or your baby’s health in reliance on the app.
• Loss of data stored on your device, however it happens.
• Indirect or consequential loss of any kind.

These terms may change as babybub does; the date at the top will change with them, and continuing to use the app means accepting the current version. We may stop distributing the beta at any time. You can stop at any time by deleting the app.

These terms are governed by the laws in force in Australia, and you and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Australian courts.
